Programming the Texecom Premier Alarm System
Enter Engineering code
Press the Programming Menu key
Press [9] to enter the Programming Menu
Enter [7] [6] to navigate to the Download Menu
Press [2] to navigate to the UDL Passcode
Enter [1 2 3 4] & Press the [Tick] or [Yes] key
Press [8] to navigate to the ComIP-3 Subnet Mask
Enter [0 0 8] (008 = 255.255.255.0 a full list of available values can be found in INS159-11 or later)
Press [7] to navigate to the ComIP-2 Gateway IP Address
Enter the following Gateway Address [1921 6800 0001]
Press [6] to navigate to the ComIP-1 IP Address & Port
Enter the following IP address and port number 1921 6800 0001 10001
Press [5] to select the Com1 Device type
Enter [3] to set the Device type to ComIP
Press Programming Menu key
Enter [9 9] to exit to programming
Note: If Com1 is in use, configure Com2 by entering [9] instead of [5] for Com2 device type followed by entering [3]. This step is to be done after the IP address and port number has been entered.
Connecting the Olarm Max
Before connecting the Olarm MAX, ensure that you power down your alarm system.
Cut and strip the 4-pin side of the reversible peripheral cable. Wire the stripped end of the peripheral cable into the terminals found on the back of the Olarm MAX.
Plug the 5-pin side of the peripheral cable to the programmed Com Port on your Texecom Premier Alarm System.

Power up your Alarm System and Olarm MAX while making reference to the table below for an understanding of the device’s LED states:

Connecting the Olarm MAX to the Olarm APP
There are two methods to add the device to the app. Follow the steps below:
Method 1: QR Code
In the Olarm APP, tap on “Add Device”
Select “Scan QR Code”
You will find the unique QR code on the back of the device beneath the internal power supply compartment. Scan the QR code and follow the prompts.
Method 2: Manually add device
In the Olarm APP, tap on “Add Device”
Select “Enter Serial”
You will find the unique serial number on the back of the device beneath the internal power supply compartment. Enter the serial number in the Olarm APP.
Enter the “V.Code” also found on the back of the device below the serial number and follow the prompts.
Connect your device to WiFi
There are two methods to get the Olarm MAX connected to your WiFi network, follow the steps below:
Method 1: In-App Prompt

Method 2: WPS Mode
Press the “FN” button found on the back of the Olarm MAX near the screw terminals
This will put the device in WPS Mode for around 3 minutes
On the WiFi router of the network you are wanting to connect to, press the WPS button
The Olarm MAX will automatically pair with the WiFi network

Note: The Olarm MAX only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
Troubleshooting for Texecom Premier
Make sure the the UDL Password has been set to 1234.
Check the IP and Port settings as per the install manual.
Make sure the Olarm is plugged into the programmed ComPort on the panel.
If there is nothing plugged into Com2, enable it for IP Coms as well. This seems to be panel related, that if both Com Ports are not set to IP, it does not pick the Olarm up on Com1. To do this go into the download menu again:

Press Programming Menu
Press [9] (Programming Menu)
Enter [7][6]
Press [9]
Enter [3]
Press [9] [9] to exit
Once the ComPort adjustments have been made, go through all the programming again. Reboot the panel with the Olarm attached.
